Just Dance Company opened it's doors in 2012, with a handful of classes a week. Our goal is to be a facility for the community, where dancers have an opportunity to learn to dance and show their skills at an affordable price. We take pride in giving back to the community here at Just Dance Company's dance studio. Whether it is through community events or volunteering our time, we love to encourage the kids to come out and dance.
About Our Staff
Ms. J/ Owner
Ms. J started her journey of gymnastics at the age of 7 and dance at the age of 11. She has had extensive training from the best of California's finest instructors. Working with children starting out of high school, helped steer Ms. J into opening up a studio where all children are welcome and loved. Her mission is to create an environment where all students can learn, gain confidence and have fun while growing a love for the art of dance!
Mr Javie has been working towards their Associates Degree in Dance which will hopefully lead to them being able to transfer to California Institute of the Arts where they will complete There Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and Their Master of Fine Arts in Choreography. Mr. Javie specializes in Contemporary and Modern Styles of Dance but can definitely Keep up with Jazz and Ballet. They recently started Voguing, learning and exploring that style of performance and culture. Ms. Jhaza
Jhaza Amari is an artist born in Inglewood, CA. Her artistry includes modeling, dance, fashion design and more. As she took the title "Miss Gardena" in 2016, Ms. Amari began her journey with Just Dance Company around the same time. She holds various certificates as a healthy lifestyle coach, camp counselor, instructor, trust- line, and most recently fashion styling. While her certificates are in many fields, her education background is dance. Jhaza began her professional dance career at age 9, attending Blackwells Dance Academy. She trained in a variety of styles such as ballet, baton, jazz, tap, drill team, hip-hop, and more. Jhaza's favorite style is modern dance because she enjoys less restrictions and appreciates creating her own movement. As an advocate in her community, she aspires to continuously share art as a therapy; non-verbal communication amongst the inner city kids who experience bullying and other traumas. Her favorite quote to live by is "Life is not about surviving the storm, It is learning to dance in the rain."
